| Program Description The Substance Abuse Intensive Outpatient program consists of two types. Clients assessed to have a primary diagnosis of substance abuse with no other co-occurring issues are placed in a substance abuse program utilizing the Matrix Model. Clients assessed with a primary diagnosis of substance abuse along with a secondary diagnosis of mental health issues are placed in a Dual Diagnosis Program. SAIL offers Morning and Evening Groups. We have a graduated program that allows the client to advance to a lower level of care throughout the program. The overall goal of SAIL’s Substance Abuse Intensive Outpatient Program is to increase the quality of life through the provision of specialized outpatient substance abuse services. Specific areas of focus may include: Recovery/Abstinence Building a strong recovery network Enhancing relationships Building stronger families Coping Skills Problem solving skills Anger Management Reduction in recidivism Connecting individuals with resources to meet their needs |
